1.0 - LINCTV INSTALLATION FOR LG: OVERVIEW and REQUIREMENTS: START HERE
This guide explains how to install a LincTV set-top box (STB) with LG and Samsung hospital-grade hospitality TVs. It covers TV configuration, wiring, device setup, and Epic bed registration.
Complete the device software setup separately from the physical installation whenever possible. The people responsible for registering and configuring the device are often different from the people installing it in the patient room.
Before you begin
Have the following available:

TV remote that can access the installer or hospitality menu

LincTV set-top box (STB)

Network, power, pillow speaker, HDMI, and TV-control cables

USB keyboard for device registration

Mounting supplies, such as zip ties or Velcro tape
Prepare for installation

Confirm the TV make and model before configuring settings.

Identify whether the room will use LG MPI control, LG RS232 control, or Samsung TV control.

Confirm that the network connection can reach your LincTV device-management server.

Assign each LincTV device to a room before device registration so it can be associated with the correct bed in Epic Hyperspace.
