3.0 - INSTALL LINCTV WITH A SAMSUNG HEALTHCARE GRADE TV
Before you begin
You will need access to the Samsung hospitality menu. A common access sequence is Mute, Up, Down, Enter. Refer to the installation manual for the specific Samsung TV model and your organization's TV-management approach.
Samsung settings may be managed directly on the TV, cloned by USB, or configured through a remote-management portal. Use the approach already in place for your organization.
TV control
LincTV supports several Samsung control protocols. Samsung Simple Command Protocol (SSCP) is the recommended option. It uses either a 5-wire 3.5 mm TRRRS connection or an RJ12 connection to the TV port labeled DATA.
EXLink and Samsung Hospitality Interactive are also supported when directed by Lincata.
