[LincTV MDM](https://support.lincata.com/linctv-mdm?hsLang=en) October 2, 2026 # 4.1 GETTING AROUND LINCTV MDM LincTV MDM is where you manage your LincTV devices after they're installed: naming and organizing devices, controlling how they behave, choosing which apps and TV channels patients get, rolling out updates, and checking device health. Your Lincata contact will give you your organization's LincTV MDM address and login. ### The one idea that makes MDM make sense You don't set up devices one at a time. You set up a Configuration once, and every device that uses it behaves the same way. The chain looks like this: 1. **Device** — one LincTV box in one room 2. **Config Group** — a set of devices that should behave the same (e.g., “Samsung TVs” or “Pediatrics”) 3. **Configuration** — the settings that group uses: TV control protocol, apps, TV channels, update window, firmware So to change something for a whole floor, change its Configuration — not each device.
